Ram Charan Tej is debuting as a hero in the year 2007. Ram Charan Tej is the only son of Padmabhushan Megastar Kala prapurna Doctor Chiranjeevi.

Charan, just completed 22 years and entering into 23rd year on 27th of March 2007.

Announcing the arrival of South India's Superstar Chiranjeevi's son, Charan Tej, it was a launch like no other. The big decision was made and Charan's doorway into eminence could not have been more perfect. Charan is raring to go and the first schedule of his latest movie in the direction of Puri Jagannadh is going at brisk pace at Bangkok and Charan Tej is expected to celebrate his first birthday as a hero in Bangkok. All Chiranjeevi family members along with his relatives were flown to Bangkok for the birthday bash in foreign locales.

Charan has got trained on basics in acting from Kishore Namit Kapoor in Mumbai. Charan also got special martial art training at Bangkok and the same is expected to perform at his debut movie. Hollywood makeup man who worked with Hrithik for Krissh movie is going to work with Charan Tej in his debut movie.
